They say weekends are for adventures, with blue skies and good vibes. So, how do you usually spend your weekend? We DOOers like to hang out with friends, chill out with family, and treat ourselves with good food. But this time, it’s a little different. We had a meaningful and very special weekend in Malaysia and Vietnam in conjunction to the 8th anniversary celebrations!
On a breezy Saturday, Malaysia DOOers shared a day with nature and the animals at Zoo Negara. To commemorate the 8th anniversary of Doo Group and the season of giving, we’ve decided to try something new. We participated in the Grow & Glow project, which was dedicated to maintaining the zoo’s locale via planting and painting sessions.
In an era where people spend one-third of their lives working, spending a little time in nature was a great way to relax, recharge and rejuvenate the body, mind and soul. And what better way to do so than to have fun while contributing to a good cause as we celebrate the group’s 8thanniversary with everyone at the zoo!
While Malaysian DOOers were enjoying the outdoor activities, DOOers in Vietnam had their version of fun by making scrumptious Christmas cookies to welcome the season of giving!
Jingle bells, jingle bells; jingle all the way! It’s hard not to get in the Christmas mood, with Christmas songs and decorations everywhere. Therefore, we’ve decided to spread the word of joy by making personalized cookies for less fortunate children while providing other necessities and food! The session was fun and interesting as we saw this as a great opportunity not only to relax and do something different, but also a meaningful way to celebrate the occasion.
Work Hard, Play Hard. It was a well spent weekend with smiles and laughter!
